I survived yet another b.g.- b.b.q.
I have no pictures (yet)
I have no mini movie (non-taken)
I wasn't hung over
I had a great time
It was glorious to hang with Roxy,
even though she left too soon
to receive the Gerber's i got for her.
Nev's friend Lisa was a great sport,
and a true doll.
Tim made it out and found himself
some butch eye candy (a.k.a. the farmer)
and all the new faces... who knew?
Crappy weather and all, but a good turn out.
Clean up was great too - its amazing
what you can burn, hey Lisa? (hehee)
Anywho, Sept's big gay BBQ is
only 4 months away,
hope to see you all then.

Dorothy and Toto arrive tomorrow via tornado.
Thus begins the mess-o'sumptin!
Yes, the big gay bbq/garden party is on Sunday.

my poor lawn
my poor house
my poor liver

After doing this on Sunday,
I swear to Dolly Parton,
that I will never ever litter again.
Not that I have a littering problem,
but i do recall in the past,
that I felt it was okay to release
the occasional piece of garbage
in a parking lot.

*gasp!*

The main item of garbage found
on our trek was beverage containers
and straws.
Also found beer bottles,
Listerine containers,
a few hubcaps,
a half drunk bottle of Cinnamon Schnapps,
$5,
and lots of takeout
food containers.
'nuff said...

picking up someone else's garbage isn't really picking
up someone else's garbage.

Karri's Kwestions for the day -

1) When you were five, what did you want to be when you grew up?
- I recall when i was 4 wanting to be a bee. I felt they had the best life,
Just floating from flower to flower, and stinging anyone who pissed them off.
- I also really didn't want to be a kid. I wanted to be a grownup as soon as I could... perhaps as to why I did adult things like smoking and swearing at age 6.

2) What are the five least essential, yet most mentally important things to you, in your place?
- a tiny ceramic cat given to me in '91 by Audrey Cherry (Madame Thenardier) when I was doing hair and wigs for my very first show, Les Miserables.
- photos of my friends, who live in different cities, on the wall beside me reminding me that they are not gone from my life.
- a ring my first true friend gave me.
- a lava lamp that a dear friend gave me.. it holds allot of memories.
- a set of wind chimes that another dear friend gave me before I moved to cowtown
3) If you could go back in time, what advice would you give your five-year-old self?
- cleanse, exfoliate, moisturize, wear sunscreen, and quit that damned smoking!

4) What is your favorite number? And why? (This only fits the theme because, five happens to be my favorite number.)
- as with most people, my fav. number is the day of my birthday, the 13th.

5) When you were young, did you ever give yourself a "five finger discount"?
- hell, who didn't. This is how our parents teach us not to steal.
- but i did get caught stealing Micheal Jackson's Thriller cassette when i was prolly 12, and I never stole again.
