Email from Becca, when asked where her baby is...
"Nope no baby yet! It's 2:08 am and I am up to pee for the 10 thousthanth time. Any day now my doc says; although technically my due date isn't for another 2 and a half weeks. The baby's weight guestamate according to the last ultrasound is that he already weighs about 8 and half pounds so if I go to term that would be about 9 and half to 10 pounds ( If the guestamate is correct) .Yikes!!!!!
I was put on bed rest 3 weeks ago (torture) I'm not ready but can't do anything about it. I have resorted to finishing my baby shopping via the internet. George is nesting and tearing the house apart wanting everything to be perfect for baby. He got new carpet put in and painted the nursery and set up the crib: now he's moved on to the family room which he decided the baby would prefer tile in so he says I can't go in to labour until he's done tiling. (I can't complain I prefer tile too).
I am excited but scared: but so ready to not be preggo anymore. Oh memories of being able to bend at the waist and have painted toe nails! (and ankles again).
Great pic by the way. You look fab as always. How was New Orleans? My mom said she saw Trina at my Uncle Robert's office.
What's new?
Oh I have to pee again.
Miss you!
Luv,
Becky
P.S. say Hi to Joc for me. "
Todays horoscope for Libra
September 23rd - October 23rd
You need a pick me up. Sometimes you just have to reward yourself. You've been through the cold winter, and worked long and hard offering your best all of the time. And sometimes it seems that you don't get quite the recognition you deserve. This is how life often goes. Once in a while you just have to take the time to offer yourself a bonus if no one else will. Take that weekend trip you've been wanting. Splurge a little. The Stars know you deserve it.
- this is what I tell myself each and every day of my life!
- praise be to all us fabulous Libras out there.
Email from Glen
It's the early morn, and I sit here enjoying the simple pleasure's of life in the form of warm toast dripping with jam and peanut butter. My cold glass of milk is within arm's reach, and I know in the back of my mind that first cigarette of day is to be followed. Mmmmm! But the smile from face fades into a frown of concern. My concern for a world at war, for all those men and women who have put their live's at stake, and most of all for Madonna's new record. Question's like, will American's be to preoccupied with world events to take notice of American Life?(Madonna's new single) Will Madonna's anti-war message in her new video create a back lash from all those war crazed Americans? Sure one can think that even Madonna is bigger than some crazy war, but we also wore acid wash in eighties. Nothing it to be presumed. So here's a little reminder that in the next few weeks perhaps we should be keeping that one girl who has brought us so much in the ways of kindness, beauty and art close to our hearts and in our prayers. I love you Madonna, and I know I will be buying three copies of your new cd just in case.
